This is the third award I have received for the linocut "Reactive" The first one from Pickens County Museum in which I received a juror's choice award, second from Trillium Arts Centre which it received first place and the current award is a honorable mention from the Arts Council of York County, SC. It is hard times when awards are pieces of paper or at best gift certificates. It is a break even or worse deal after enty fees are paid, shipping paid, and gas, not to mention the exspense of materials for making the works.
